ALAMA has introduced a bursary scheme to help specialist trainees in Occupational Medicine with expenses of a research project.
The ALAMA Bursary Scheme has been introduced with the aim of assisting specialist trainees in Occupational Medicine with incidental costs relating to a dissertation for MFOM, or other research or travel with a specific purpose relating to areas of Occupational Medicine relevant to ALAMA.
Applicants must be members of the Association and working in a field of practice relevant to ALAMA's aims. Applications must be submitted by 31 December each year. Successful applicants will be expected to keep the ALAMA Committee informed of the progress of their supported activity, and to present the results or outcome at an ALAMA conference.
